The instructional methodology practiced is interactive, through discussion on real-life case studies, and optimum use of audio-visual aids and computer by the in-house faculty as well as by the visiting faculty, comprising practicing managers from leading business firms.
In first year, students are given a holistic view of general principles of management covering all functional areas of management. The students are tested in the field during their summer training at various corporate houses. Successively, in the third semester students acquire expertise in the specific industries of their choice viz. input supply, food, pharmaceuticals, fertilizers, pesticides, farm machinery etc. or in the functional areas management. In the final semester students undertake full-time final project (four months) which helps them to take off intricacies of the target industry.
SEMESTERS WISE COURSE SCHEDULING
From our web site Ö
CABM has devised the selection procedure with the thought of evaluating the overall competency and personality of the candidate. The initial screening of the students is done through CAT (Common Admission Test) conducted by IIMs. The screened candidates are called for interview and group discussion. The students who jump up over the bar are admitted to MBA. This gives rise to a rare blend of professionals that are eager to match themselves on the touchstone and serve the country.
