In accordance with the University Grants Commission (Redressal of Grievances of Students) Regulations, 2023 (UGC NOTIFICATION, New Delhi, 11th April, 2023), the G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar has established a grievance redressal mechanism that is easily accessible and user-friendly. Individuals can submit their grievances via email (dsw.gbpuat@gmail.com) at any time and from any location. Alternatively, they may personally approach any member of the grievance committee with a written application outlining their concerns in the attached complaint form.

The objectives of SGRC are:

• To provide opportunities for redressal of certain grievances of students already enrolled in the University, as well as those seeking admission to the University.

1. To review the complaints received by the SGRC.
2. To follow the principles of natural justice in considering the grievances.
3. The SGRC shall send its report with recommendations, if any, to the Vice-Chancellor of the University and a copy thereof to the aggrieved student, preferably within a period of 15 working days from the date of receipt of the complaint.
4. Any student aggrieved by the decision of the Students' Grievance Redressal Committee may prefer an appeal to the Ombudsperson, within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of such decision.
5. Regulation for grievance may be revised time to time on the directive of UGC and as per Academic Regulation of the University.

• A representative from among students of the college is nominated by the Dean Student Welfare based on his/her academic performance or excellence in sports or co-curricular activities.
• Students studying in 3rd year, topper of 2nd year from any college will be nominated by Dean Student welfare.

An aggrieved student can submit the application seeking redressal of grievance to the Committee:
